British Fashion Designer, Alexander McQueen, is dead.

The fashion world is still reeling in shock at the news that Alexander McQueen has been found dead this morning at his Mayfair appartment. Foul play is not suspected. The "badboy" of British fashion was instrumental in putting British fashion on the map since the mid 1990's.

His career was stellar, starting as an apprentice making suits in Saville Row, he went on to work for Romeo Gigli in Milan and later became main fashion designer for Givenchy, Paris. He returned to the UK in the mid-nineties to pursue his own career.
 

The loss to the British and international fashion industry is immeasurable. He will be sadly missed.
